About our Menus

Our Steaks

Lake district farmers supply premium quality, breed specific meat products direct to the best dining establishments throughout the UK. They provide customers with the full supply chain history whilst always supporting the farmers and their local community within the Lake District. We were able to go and select the specific breeds of cattle for our beef, the Belted Galloway, Short Horn and Long Horn. We dry age our meat in the temperature controlled, dehumidified environment of our MaturMeat aging cabinet that you can see in the restaurant. No steak finds its way to our menu before this unique treatment, and we believe this innovative piece of equipment provides you with a steak so concentrated in flavour that it’s like no other. Our specially imported Josper charcoal oven is constantly kept at 375-400°C to turn what we believe to be exquisite meat into a fabulously smoky, perfectly cooked steak that combines the rich aged beef flavour with a powerful BBQ taste.

Our Fish

Grimsby is of course famous for it’s fish, Grimsby fish market is the focal point of the local industry and its importance is recognised by the UK and EU fishing industries, therefore it only seems right that we use this great local resource for the fish on our menu. We buy daily from the market to ensure we serve the best fish available.

Our Vegetables

Our vegetables are always sourced as locally as possible, ensuring seasonality and quality. Combining the freshness of their picking, and minimising their travelling distance means that we are proud to serve only the best vegetables the UK produces. Chef, Slawek, is always looking forward to what season is around the corner and what exciting vegetables will soon be available to work with and use in his unique creations.
